Typically, a network assessment will measure and analyze performance of the following:

• Network devices – switches, routers, hubs, etc. Includes capacity issues related to CPU, memory, buffer management, link/media utilization, and throughput.
• Applications – e-mail, voice, FTP, Telnet, etc. Application baseline information consists mostly of bandwidth used by applications.
  

In addition to Brinestone’s Network Assessment, we will also survey organizational expectations, management, physical sites and cabling infrastructure to produce a comprehensive analysis.
